| Candle lit ceremony to remember 26/11 victims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 26: Students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology today organized a candle lighting ceremony in the memory of those who lost their lives in the Mumbai terror attacks on 26th November 2008.
After the candle lighting a two minutes silence was observed in respect of the memories of the departed souls of these attacks.
The students also made posters in the name of the martyrs and made donations to mark the occasion.
The proceeds of the contribution were then spent on food items and were distributed amongst the children of SOS home in Channi Rama Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Maansi Gupta, centre director JD Institute said that it was their little way of paying a heartfelt tribute to those who laid down lives so that others could live in freedom and peace.
