‘Use of computer in teaching’ emphasized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua Nov 27: The State Institute of Education Jammu (SIE) on Saturday organised a six days training programme on “the use of computer in teaching learning process”. During the course, interactive and practical sessions were held with the active participation of the participants on latest modes of the use of computer and computer aided learning. In the programme, 21 masters and teachers from three zones Ramban, Batote and Gool of district Ramban participated with effect from November 22 to 27. Director School Education, Jammu, G A Qureshi, who presided over valedictory function, emphasized on the importance of computer education in the fast changing technological oriented society. Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Joint. Director TRG/Principal, State Institute of Education Jammu emphasized the need of making the computer systems available in schools functional. Rajinder Khajuria, coordinator of the programme was assisted by Rakesh Gandotra acted as resource persons. S K Gupta, Namarta Khajuria, Archana Khanna and Pritam Singh assisted the RPs in practical session.
