| Medical camp marks BSF raising day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu,Nov 27 As part of BSF Raising Day celebrations, a medical camp was organised at Ftr HQ BSF Hospital, Paloura on November 27 with the help of Blood Bank of Medical College, Jammu.
A medical camp was inaugurated by P P S Sidhu, Special DG (West )BSF Chandigarh in the presence of S Chattopadhyaya, WS, IG BSF Jammu and other senior officer of BSF. Sidhu laid emphasis on the importance of blood donation and expressed that it is best way of serving human kind. He complimented all organizers who contributed to make this blood donation camp a success. Two officers and 68 other ranks of Border Security Force donated blood voluntarily and same was deposited with Government Medical College, Jammu .
Dr T R Raina, Professor and HOD Blood Bank, GMCH, Jammu was also present . Despite various operational commitments, BSF has always contributed well towards civil action plan for the benefit civil population residing the remote border locations of the Jammu region.
