| Mega bhandara on Nov 29 at Bhairav temple | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Nov 27: A mega bhandara would be held at the pracheen and most reverred Bhairav temple at Bhairav Temple Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, here on November 29.
Talking to media persons, temple priest Rumil Shalma said that thousands of people come here every year to seek the blessing of the Almighty and get rid of the evil effects of bad things.
The Priest said like every year, a bhandara would be held at the temple on November 29, a day after the Kaal Bhairav Ashtami. He invited the people of Jammu and Kashmir to take part in the bhandara and have darshans of the pindi of Lord Bhairav.
The temple remained unattended for several years and the pooja which was started here by Rumil over a decade and a halfback. He said pooja and havan would be performed at the temple on Kaal Bhairav Ashtami on November 28 and bhandara on November 29.
Priest Rumil said the businessmen association of the adjoining Pacca Danga and Moti Bazar has also volunteered to decorate their market this year on the eve of Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.
He requested the businessmen and traders of all the Jammu markets to attend the bhandara on November 29. Rumil said the bad effects of Shani and Rahu also get nullified by offering prayers at the Bhairav temple.
