Three kidnapped, tortured

Srinagar, November 4: A group of unidentified persons abducted a student, injected an intoxicant in his body, and was let off in an unconscious condition at pulwama, while as another student who happens to be a resident of Batmaloo Srinagar was subjected to torture and let off at Shopian. Meanwhile a group of masked youth beat a boy black and blue at Handwara.
Two masked youth, according to reports reaching here, abducted a class XII student Aijaz Ahmed Mir S/O Mohd Sidiq R/O Lasipora Pulwama and took him to a paddy field. The abductors syringed an intoxicant in his body and tried to cut his one arm with a sharp edged weapon, but a group of local youth tried to come to his rescue during which people raises an alarm and abductors ran away in panic. The victims was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar immediately and his condition is stated to be critical.
Similarly another class XII student Mubashir Mohd Bhat S/O Dr Gh Mohd R/O Arifeen Colony Tengpora Batmaloo went missing immediately after stepping put from his house late in the evening . He returned home wounded early in the morning today and narrated a woeful tale to his family. Mubashir said a group of Maruti borne people abducted him on Friday evening from Byepass road. They, according to Mubashir, shifted him to an unknown destination where he was subjected to severe torture and let off in a deserted area in the morning. After traveling 15 kilometers distance he, as per his statement, reached Shopian from where he reached Batmaloo. Police is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile unidentified masked youth dragged out one Murtaza Mushtaq from his house at Handwara and subjected him to severe torture as a result of which he was wounded. He was shifted to hospital immediately. However the identity of attackers could not be ascertained.
