| Powergrid organizes free cardiac camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 28: Powergrid organised one-day free cardiac camp at Chamba Sunday in association with Fortis Hospital, Mohali under the Corporate Social Responsibility.
Internationally renowned Dr. Rakesh K. Jaswal, director cardiology of Fortis Hospital, Mohali and his team treated 246 patients during the camp.
Advanced diagnostic facilities like Echo Cardiography, ECG and BP were provided to the patients.
SDM, Chamba and CMO, Chamba inspected the camp and appreciated various facilities provided in the camp.
Powergrid’s effort in providing the latest diagnostics techniques and consultation serviced of internationally renowned heart specialist Dr. Rakesh K. Jaswal was highly appreciated by the local people and local administration.
Manish Sharma , chief manager(Chamba) and his team coordinated the event on behalf of Powergrid .
A seminar on preventing coronary artery disease was also held on the occasion during which Dr Jaswal made a presentation on this epidemic. He elaborated on the precautions to be taken to prevent coronary artery disease during the seminar which was highly appreciated by the people.
