| Open timber sale: Niaz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 28: Former Minister and MLA Bhaderwah Mohammed Sharief Niaz has demanded that timber sale depot and firewood sale depot be opened at all the central places on roadside in Bhaderwah constituency and timber for construction and firewood be provided on cheap rates to people.
Niaz said that forest minister had directed high officials of department to open timber sale depot and firewood depot at different places but till now no action has been taken in this regard . Winter season has approached and people are compelled to get firewood from the forests illegally to save themselves from the severe chill. Niaz said that forest official are providing firewood only at proper Bhaderwah on very high rates which is beyond the purchasing capacity of people.
