Kathua Nov 28, The sport in Kathua is speedily going to vanish from its own roots, to make it shocking the worse role of the management of the Kathua stadium is the key factor.
It is very interesting that the Kathua stadium is just situated at less than 100 ft away from the residences of DC, SSP along with other administrators of the Kathua.

Most of the prominent citizens who ever can be seen for claiming the development of Kathua are the permanent part of daily walkers in the stadium but never have been seen concerned about the development of the stadium.
The employees of the stadium except fourth class, almost getting the handsome salary without doing their proper and routine duty to maintain the stadium.
The former power minister Babu Singh took the matter of Kathua stadium seriously into his notice to carry out the development of the stadium of the Kathua as per his dream project to make it as national level, he brought some wonderful changes by developing surface of stadium ground and expanded the surface capacity also but he faced immense political resistance from the various political rivals who want to crush his efforts. Inspite of all these barriers he maintained to level the surface of the stadium and its expansion.
While the entire administration is residing on the head of stadium and as per sources there is only 11 employees including three ground men, one chowkidar, one sweeper, one lady attendant, and one casual labour, two coach for Judo, one athletic, and one hockey coach in which only chowkidar, casual labour, sweeper, and lady attendant are working honestly but the coaches are mostly absent and unseen in the stadium.
The sports persons are demanding the football coach, cricket coach, gymnastic coach and Kabbadi coach to train the interested sports persons. The famous athletic and handball players Ankush Saini, Shiv Dutt, Himanshu, Love, and Wasim said that there is no facility of the coaching and they are facing number of problems as such there is no information about any trials, or holding of any cricket, football, or hockey tournament since long.
