| General body elections held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 28: The general body meeting of SOS children’s Village (Balgran) , Chhani Rama, Jammu was held on Sunday in the premises of SOS Balgran to elect office bearers and the members of the governing body for the next 3 years term.
I.D. Soni conducted the election proceedings alongwith ex deputy director of education and presently chief commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu.
Krishen Lal Gupta was elected as president, S.N. Sharma and Santosh Magotra were elected as vice- presidents. A.K. Khajuria was elected as secretary. P.V. Rawal and S. Amarjeet Singh were elected as treasurer and joint secretary respectively.
H.B. Khajuria, Vijay Bhagotra, Jagmohan Gupta and. Swarn Jamwal were elected as members of the governing body. It was also decided that O.P Modi will be the life time patron-in- chief and A.K. Arora as patron.
Among others Prem Gupta, Rani Blowria,. Kuldeep Gupta, Lajiya Manhas, Urmil Arora, Rama Malhotra,.C Gupta N.K Khajuria T.R. Puri , S.C. Guptra B. K Arora and Urmi Sethi were also present in the meeting.
