| Romeo Force organises Ex- servicemen rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Nov 28 The counter insurgency force(Romeo) organised an exservicemen rally at Tehsil Thanamandi of border district Rajouri on Sunday which was alargely attended by the large number retired soldiers belonging to different forces like BSF, ARMY, CRPF and other central focres beside the family members of the exservicemen and war widows . The high level even was also attended by large number of civil and army officers . The aim and objective of this rally was told by the army authorities to know about the problems being faced by the retired soldiers and their family members . The main aim of the rally was told to aware the retired soldiers and their family members about the government schemes for their benefit and up liftment .
Adressing the rally of exservicemen and other audience , General Officer Commanding , Maj.Gen. KAS Bhullar urgedupon the retired soldiers to contribute more for nation in the shape of awaring their villagers and other family members about the greatness of Bharat . General Bhullar also informed the retired soldiers and their families about the government schemes and other special programes launched for their upliftment . He also met with the war widows and the vives of Kargil martyers after the event was over. On this occassion, the views of all those soldiers were honoured with special gifts whose husbands laid their lives while fighting with the militants . Other special invitees who were present on the occassion included ASP Rajouri, Mohammad Shabir, Principal Government Degree College Thananmandi, Chief Education Officer Rajouri and Tehsildar Thanamandi.
