| Air Force School celebrates Sports Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 29: Air Force School Satwari Jammu today celebrated the Annual Sports Day with a great pomp and show in the school ground.
The chief guest, Air Commodore, Nitin Sathe, Air Officer commanding, Air Force Station Jammu and Chairman School Management Committee was welcomed by WG Cdr R K Misra, Chief Administrative Officer, Flt Lt Karishma Sethi, O I/c Air Force School Jammu and the Principal at the venue.

Scouts & Guides of the school presented the guard of honour.
The welcome address was given by the Principal, Mr. Vikesh Sandhal highlighting the achievement of the school in sports activities and sports day function commenced with the hoisting of the school flag by the chief guest.
Rohit Mulhan the sports captain and the gold medal winner of WAC cricket team ran a lap round the ground with the torch and the school girl captain Kamlesh Kumari Bajwa took the oath of unity and integrity on behalf of all the competitors. School captain master Vinamara Yougal led the march past.
A variety of drills were presented by the students of class 3rd to 5th . While the children of class 8th to 11th mesmerized the audience with the classical dance presentation, the students of class 6th and 7th enthralled the audience by dancing on patriotic theme of “Chak de India” & ‘Jai Ho’.
In between the cultural events, the races had an absorbing contest among the six houses, cheered by the children and the audience. Interesting sports events for parents was also conducted. The Chief Guest distributed the prizes to all the winners.
Puneet Kour, vice principal proposed the vote of thanks.
The chief guest in his address appreciated the enthusiasm, zeal and cultural display of the students. He appreciated the efforts being made by the student and staff for the Annual Sports Day Preparation.
