| Div Com. visits Kashmir Haat and Chattipadshahi, | | |
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 04 – To review the arrangements being made in connection with organizing Industrial Exhibition, commencing from November 10, 2006 at Kashmir Haat, a high level officers meeting was held here today under the Chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Mr. Basharat Ahmad Dar. The meeting was attended by the senior officers of various departments.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the officers to ensure foolproof arrangements for smooth and successful conduct of exhibition.
Later Divisional Commissioner paid a visit to Gurdawara Chatipadshahi Rainawari and reviewed the arrangements being made in connection with celebration of birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Senior Sikh Community leader S. Chain Singh Ji was also present on the occasion.
Mr. Basharat directed Chief Engineer Power, R&B and Commissioner Municipal Corporation to make all arrangements in their respective areas. He directed Chief Engineer PHE and PDD to ensure adequate availability of drinking water and power supply in these areas.
Divisional Commissioner also inspected the ongoing work on Badamwari Park, being developed by J&K Bank.
Mr. Basharat also paid obeisance at Ziarat Sheikh Makdhoom Sahib and took stock of the arrangements made for the devotes at shrine. |
