| Jammu handball players return | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 29: Two Jammu handball players who were part of the Indian handball teams in the just concluded China Asian Games today returned to the city amidst warm welcome by the friends and relatives at Jammu Airport here.
While Rita Devi, as per the J&K Handball Association, was captain of the women’s team, Vicky Singh was part of the men’s contingent.
In handball competition, Indian teams finished at No. 8th position. In all, 12 teams took part in women’s section and 13 in men’s category.
Former international player and coach of the J&K Police handball team, Vivek Khajuria, who represented the Handball Federation of India in the Games, also received at the Airport.
