| Restoration of IMFA building sought | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Nov 29: Shri Ram Sena, State President, Rajiv Mahajan expressed resentment against the attitude of State government for delaying the renovation and restoration of Institute Music and Fine Art (IMFA) building at Talab Tillo.
Addressing media persons here today, Mahajan said that the matter was brought to the notice of the former Deputy Commissioner, Jammu who inspected the building on October 26 and assured that the building shall be renovated/repaired within ten days time, but till this date no repair works have been carried.
He said that the building was in shambles and about to collapse and needed immediate attention and restoration.
He appealed to the Director Estate Department to look this matter personally and get the Institute building renovated and restoration.
Rajiv Mahajan also appealed the administration to shift to the new campus in Jammu University and get start the work by December 15 failing which the members of Shri Ram Sena, along with the parents of the students and the students will go for an agitation.
