Azad felicitates people on Guru Nanak Devji’s birthday

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 04- Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has felicitated the people on Guru Nanak Devji’s birthday.
In a message issued here today to pay homage to the great Guru, Chief Minister described Guru Nanak Devji as symbol of love and amity and said that Guruji preached and advocated universal brotherhood. He said Guruji’s famous saying Awal Allah Noor Upaya Qudrat Kay Sab Banday, Ek Noor Te Sab Jag Upjaya Koun Bhalay Koun Manday itself speaks loud and clear of his concern for universal brotherhood and mutual amity.
Chief Minister said that the teachings of Guruji are relevant for all times to come and inspire mankind to live in coherence, respect each others faiths and create a harmonious society free from hatred and ill-will.
He said the best way of paying homage to Guru Nanak Devji is to propagate his teachings of love and brotherhood and upkeep the values of humanity.
Mr. Azad hoped that this day would be a harbinger of peace and prosperity for the country and the state.
