| 30th Industrial expo from Nov 15 | | Economic prosperity: Let industry spread its base at district level too, says Dr Sharma | | JAMMU, NOVEMBER 04
Asserting that strategies for the revival and stimulation of sick industrial units in Jammu and Kashmir is being worked out, Minister of State for Industries Dr Romesh Sharma today said that the economic prosperity could not only be achieved by expansion of industrial base.
Sharma said that industrial expanse particularly in spreading out at the district and tehsil levels would not only afford bright vistas of growth and opportunity to the skilled and unskilled human resource of the state but also accomplish the trickle down effect in real terms of the economic reserves.
Discussing the finer details for holding of 30th Industrial and Handicrafts Exhibition at the Jammu Haat, here this morning, Dr Sharma impressed upon the senior officers, representatives of industrial associations, industrial houses and traders to put in their strenuous efforts in making the event a grand success, which is likely to commence from November 15.
Dr Sharma hoped that the mega exhibition would not only project and popularize the skill and workmanship put in by artisans, artists and technocrats but also unleash a new era of progression for industrial growth and development in Jammu and Kashmir. He also assured the industrial houses that all their genuine grievances would be addressed. Meanwhile, Joint Director Information S.K. Sharma has been nominated as Nodal Officer for 30th Industrial and Handicraft Exhibition. |
