| BAJ election: Two nomination forms rejected during scrutiny | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov: 30 (JNF):- The two nomination forms for joint secretary and one cashier were rejected for reason that the persons proposing /seconding them had not deposited arrears as on last date of filling the nomination papers.
According to Secretary BAJ those whose nominations were rejected for the post of Joint Secretary were Shafiq-ur-Rehman Bhat and Narinder Sharma. Anuj Malhotra for the post of cashier. Rest of the nominations forms were accepted and the election is to be held on December 18 .
According to the Returning officer, Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi as there is no candidate for the post of cashier after rejection the form of cashier, a fresh opportunity is given to members interested to contest for the post of cashier who can fill their form by December 3 .
For the post of President, three candidates namely Adv Ved Raj Wazir, Adv BS Salathia and Adv AK Sawhney all are former presidents.
For the post of Vice President Adv Ashok Kumar Beotra, Adv Rupinder Singh, Adv MU Salaria and Adv Anil Sethi (former AAG) haver filed nomination papers.
For the post of General Secretary Adv Vishal Sharma, Adv Vikram Sharma, Adv Parminder Singh and Adv Rajinder Singh Jamwal have filed their nomination paper.
For the post of joint Secretary, seven candidates filed their nomination Adv Arun Vikas Thakur, Adv Arun Tandon, Adv Parimoksh Seth, Adv Deivyaishan, Adv Kuldeep Raj.
