Education minister assures for regularization under “one time exception” | | | .EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 30: The Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has assured for regularization of 7000 incharge incumbents through State cabinet as “ one time exception”. This was stated by the Minister while interacting with a delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum which met in his office chamber under the leadership of H.D Qureshi the state president of the Forum. The delegation comprising Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali both vice presidents, N.S Jamwal general secretary, chief organiser Ashwani Sharma, BD Sharma district president Jammu and Talib Hussain member central executive apprised the minister the concern of cadre for delay in the regularization of 7000 incharge incumbents, the decision for which has already been taken by the state cabinet under chairmanship of Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister on March 29, 2010. The Minister also apprised the delegation that the orders for placement of lecturers to the rank of the senior lecturers and gazetted recruitment rules are being issued very shortly. The delegation also discussed the issues that include the placement of lecturers in Pay Band No 3 and making functional the Rashtriya Madhmic Shiksha Abhian ( RMSA) in the state and also the decision of government for curtailment of winter vacations in the larger interest of students. The delegation also apprised the Education Minister that not a single person in the component of Hr. Sec.level is involved in private tuition during working hours and highly appreciated the decision of Minister for supply of uniform to the students across the state in government schools. The Education Minister assured the delegation that all the issues raised by the Forum are under active consideration of the government and are being addressed seriously.
