| Congress Sewa Dal organizing rally to welcome CM on Darbar move eve | | ‘Rejects Nov 6 Bandh call’ | | JAMMU NOV-04- Strongly rejecting the November 6 Bandh Call given by the Refugees United Front, the Congress Seva Dal has asked the people to join the rally being organized to welcome Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on the day. Addressing media persons here today, the Seva Dal Chief B S Sambyal opposing the Bandh call said that the Government is already seized of the problems of PoK and West Pakistan refugees and is vigorously pursuing the matter with the Central Government. He said there is no justification to resort to bandhs, which ultimately causes inconvenience to the public in general and affects the economy in particular. He said that in recognition of the commendable job done by the Chief Minister during his one- year rule in the State, the Sewa Dal has decided to organize a rally on Monday to welcome Azad on reopening of civil secretariat and other moving offices in the winter capital. He has appealed the general public to join the rally in large numbers to show solidarity with Ghulam Nabi Azad, the first Chief Minister from Jammu region, and credited to have launched thousands of developmental schemes across the state besides bringing transparency in the state administration to make it people-friendly.
