| Four killed in road accident, three bodies recovered in suspicious circumstances | | | JAMMU NOV-04- Four persons were killed on spot and two others sustained injuries in a road accident near Samroli on Jammu-Srinagar Highway today while three bodies were recovered at different places under suspicious circumstances. The reports said that Car NO 71`71/JK01J rolled down near Samroli falling under Chenani Police station resulting on the spot death of four passengers traveling in it and injuries to two others. The deceased have been identified as Showkat Ahmed Shah, Javid Ali Shah, Latif Ahmed and Abdul Aziz all residents of Srinagar while Rouf Ahmed sustained injuries and admitted in hospital for treatment. A Police spokesman said that body of Kamail Singh son of Baldev Singh resident of Tehsil Dalhousie Himachal Pradesh died under suspicious circumstances at a hut at Maskha Basholi, while Bagh-e-Bahu Police recovered the body of a 30 year Goverdan Singh of Chatisgarh from new JDA colony Sheikh Nagar Bahu Fort. The spokesman said that Sidhra Police recovered the body of one Nizam Din son of Rajwali, bakerwal from village Kanasaghral. The death is reportedly due to drowning in a well. The police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC.
