| BJP stalwarts to attend 'Maha rally' on Dec 24 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 01 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said stalwart leaders of saffron brigade would attend a day-long 'maha rally' to be organised on December 24 .
''The rally will be organized to make people aware of Jammu and Kashmir's accession with the country and to protest against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's remarks on it,'' BJP state president Shamsher Singh Manhas told reporters at a press conference here.
Condemning Omar’s remarks on document of accession, a calendar of activities has also been released to hold protests at all district and tehsil levels .
''Top brass of BJP, including Lal Krishan Advani, national president Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Leader of opposition in Rajya Saba Arun Jaitley and other senior leaders will be attending a day-long 'maha rally' to be held on December 24 at Parade Ground here,'' Mr Singh added.
He said that besides accession, the issues of inflation, unemployment and citizenship rights of refugees would also remain on agenda.
He also added that BJP Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the ruling states are also likely to take part in rally.
