| Painting contest organised | | | Early times report
JAMMU Dec 01: The Department of Environment & Remote Sensing, Jammu organized a painting competition as well as symposium at National Public High School, Shiv Nagar on the ``Role of Children in Saving Environment".
More than 200 students participated in the event from class 4th to 10th in two groups. The function was presided over by Sushil Sharma, Environmental Soil Conservationist from Department of Environment & Remote Sensing.
Vishno Verma, Principal, National Public High School presented welcome address and Jyoti Verma, teacher of the school performed the duty of stage secretary.
The following students were declared 1 st, 2nd & 3rd in each group.
Panting Competition level 1 (8th to 10th)
Mansi Mehra Class 9th, Separsh Verma Class 9th &Radika Mahajan of class 8th were declared 1 st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
. Painting competition level II (Class 4th to 7th)
Simran Gupta of class 7th, Hartik Verma of Class 7th and Tushar Sharma of class 7th were declared 1st , 2nd & 3rd respectively.
Symposium:
Sakshi Khuda of Class 9th & Sheetal of class 8th were declared 1 st & 2nd respectively; Gifti & Bharti both from class 10th were declared Joint 3rd• Vote qf thanks was given by Sh.Irshad Masoom, Range officer from Department of Environment & Remote Sensing, Jammu.
