Nagrota police solves murder

Nagrota police claims to have solved the murder of a youth by a arresting the seven absconding persons. A few days back some person attacked on a two persons with sharp edged weapons in which one person died on spot and the other was seriously injured. According to the reports some days back tow persons Chanchal Lal S/o Rama Saran r/o Kottal, Nagrota and Channa Ram on their way to home were attacked by some persons with sharp edged weapons injuring both of them seriously and resulting on spot death of Chanchal Lal. The local residents of the area who came to know about the incident informed the police, which rushed to the spot and took body to GMC hospital for autopsy and registered a case in this regard. After murder of the Chanchal Lal, the accused were absconding and evading their arrest. However, the continuous efforts of the Nagrota police succeeded today in arresting all the seven persons involved in the murder.
The arrested persons are Zorawar Singh Gopal Singh, Ganesh Singh, Balraj Singh Ramneek Singh Sohan Singh, Dhyan Singh all residents of Kattal Nagrota. One more accused identified as an army jawan Darbar Singh is still absconding investigations of the arrested person are in progress and a case u/s 302,341,323,147, RPC, vide FIR No 220/2006 has been registered against them.
The whole operation of arresting the accused was carried out under the supervision of S.P rural Shakti Pathak and Dy. S. P Mehmood Chaoudhary SHO Deepak Raina and his team.
Police had also arrested some suspects earlier for interrogation to get some clue.
