| Cong workers hold meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 1: A meeting of Congress workers held at Vijaypur today to discuss the several problems confronted by the local populace.
Former minister Manjeet Singh chaired the meeting wherein he alleged that pick and choose has been applied in the selection of NYK volunteers. He further said that granting of pensions and IAY benefits is not being done in the right manner as the concerned officers have indulged in favouritism on the interference of political pressure. He warned the district administration and RDD department functionaries and said that the party workers will hold a procession and protest in the Tehsildar office on December 6.
In the meeting several other prominent party leaders and a large number of workers also participated including Dr. Satpal, Babal Gupta, Gotam Singh, Hashim ali, Gurjeet singh, Sain Dass, Rinka Choudhary, Sukhjinder singh, shamsher Singh, Tilak raj, Mohan Lal, somnath, Rikhi Singh, Hansraj etc.
