A meeting of Congress workers of Majalta block was held at Mansar under the presidentship of Yash Paul Khajuria, former minister and vice president J&k Pradesh Coongress committee.
Highlighting the demands of the area Khajuria said that Majalta Jansal road which got damaged due to recent rains require immediate repairs, besides it should be blacktopped also. He demanded upgradation of High School Majalta to the level of Middle School.
He also demaded ambulance for primary health center and istallation of handpumps in the area to protect the Mansar lake.
Congress leader appealed to the party worker of Majalta blcok to be united and work for the cause of their area and general public.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included Geeta Devi, Krishan Chand Bhagat, Ashok Gupta, Sardari Lal and others.
