Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec1: With people seeing through the game plan of separatists as well as Pakistan there are no takers for the strike calls given by the Hurriyat leadership now and the situation has started limping back to normalcy in trouble-torn Kashmir Valley .
Moreover with Pakistan losing international support on Kashmir issue, Hurriyat and other separatist factions are also feeling isolated in Valley day by day.
As the masses have suffered a lot due to over five month long turmoil in Valley and they are already fed up with separatists dictates will no longer give any credence to their appeals of bandh calls in future now. Nor are they interested in giving any credence to more rumors spread by separatists and their agents to continue the disturbances in Kashmir on the name of so called movement in future.
According to sources the situation is fast changing to normalcy in Kashmir since the shifting of Darbar to Jammu and people have started resuming their normal business to say good by to the violence. The separatists, their mentors across the border have been exposed before the masses who will no longer like to support them or observe a strike on their call, sources added.
The people have now openly started defying the separatists dictates who except the miseries and hardships have failed to offer any thing good to Kashmiris during last 21 year long turmoil, sources said, adding the masses are now fully satisfied that the separatists are their worst enemies so they have decided to resume their routine work.
Sources said that not only this the masses are now prepared to face wrath of the separatists and militants boldly and they will not hesitate in challenging them in view of the devastating role played by them during last 21 years. This is the reason that the bandh calls given by separatist Hurriayt conference has failed to evoke response in Kashmir now to that level as it used to evoke prior to darbar move, sources added.
Sources said that the public resentment against the Hurriyat and other separatist organisations in Kashmir had started earlier in July and August months when people in different parts of the Valley had defied the strike call by opening their business establishments and also plied the transport services on various routes in Kashmir.
However with the passage of time the people in entire Valley came to know about the ulterior motives of the separatists and Hurriyat and they are no longer to ready to support them in future, the sources added.
Sources said the developments taking place at international level with UN removing Kashmir from international list of disputes and nuclear fuel controversy hitting Pakistan, the Kashmiris have come to know that the separatist were only be fooling the people by showing green pastures to them. And under the given situation in the world this was not possible as Pakistan as well as the separatists are not getting any support from international community who know that challenging the unity and integrity of India will pose a threat to peace in Sub Continent and for the greater interests of peace the international community will not like to support Pakistan which has been the breeding centre and mastermind of world terrorism, sources added.
Keeping these realities in the mind no Kashmiri in future will like to associate himself with those elements who have brought lot of destruction to the state and were responsible for killing of thousands of people, sources said, adding the onus now lies with the Government which has to cash the situation to peoples advantage.
And this was high and opportune time not only for the Government but for the mainstream political parties in the state to launch a pro mass movement against separatists as well as terrorists so that that they are isolated once for all, sources said.
