President Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Shiv Kumar Sharma supported the demands of food and supplies workers association and urged upon the govt to accept all the genuine demands of lower level workers of the deptt.
According to press release Sharma along with Bishan Dass and Vijay Kumar met the director CAPD B.D Sharma and apprised him about the problems of workers of the department. He said the demands like revision of bag rate loading unloading charges, revision of guarantee wages, implementation of court orders regarding provident funds etc. be accepted by the government immediately.
