| Ramcharitmanas Path contest held | | | early times report
jammu, Dec 2: J&K Rashtra Prachar Samiti today organized Shri Ramcharitmanas Path Pratiyogita competition at the S.D Tara Puri Public High School.
As many as 22 students from 12 schools participated. Vivek Sharma and Swaranshu, Aditya Kapoor of Shiksha Niketan School, Jeewan Nagar clinched 1st prize. Harneet Kour & Palak Gupta of Shiksha Niketan High School, G.Nagar clinched 2nd prize, Madhu Sharma & Vidushi Sharma of S.D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar clinched 3rd prize and Nadia Akhtar & Niharika of Bloom Public School won consolation prize.
The chief guest of the programme was Prof. Indra S. Rathore. Patron of the organization Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma. The members of the Jury were Prof. S.D Manhas, Dr. Aruna Sharma, Sh. K.K. Shakhir. Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sharma acted as stage secretary.
Other prominent members were O.P. Sharma Vidyarthi, a prominent writer in Dogri and Hindi, Dr Satya Pal Shrivatsa, Chand Deepika.
The Guest of honour Neeru Puri. The function concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Vaidya Nath Labh.
