| JKPSA continues to agitate unabated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 2: Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association (JKPA) continued its day & night agitation on the 10th consecutive day in front of Divisional Commissioner's office here today.
Many physiotherapists had getered at the venue with most of the female doctors present o the ocassion.
Meanwhile, JKPA has also started a signature campaign at Shalimar Chowk for the awareness and need of physiotherapy in the state.
Mmore than 5000 people of the state signed in the signature campaign & stressed the govt. to include physiotherapy in the health care sector so that the general masses can get the benefit of the treatment.
People on the occasion admitted that that private physiotherapy is out of their reach as they cannot pay the charges of physiotherapy privately. And hence physiotherapy must be included in the health care.
People of the state recognize physiotherapy as a necessary health care for them to prevent work and economical loss due to absence of such type of health care system.
Mohd Yousef Tarigami, MLA also visited the Dharna site and assured the agitationg physiotherapists to extends his full support to them. He announced that he along with JKPA members will raise their genuine demands in the Legislative Assembly. |
