| Mangat inaugurates Urban Training Health Centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Minister of Health and Medical Education, Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma inaugurated a newly constructed building of Urban Training Health Centre at Trikuta Nagar here this morning. MLA Gandhi Nagar Raman Bhalla, Principal GMC Dr. Mumtaz Goni and Director Health Services Dr. Jasbir Singh were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister lauded the efforts of local MLA and citizens of the area for facilitating the construction of this centre. He further said that this centre would primarily serve the purpose of providing practical training to the budding doctors but the people of the area would also be benefited with it. He assured people of ambulance facility on call along with other facilities in the hospital. Urging upon the doctors to treat the patients with love and affection, he said that missionary zeal is must for this profession. He also sought the cooperation of the local people in the upkeep of the institution.
Demanding expeditious execution of health care infrastructure in his constituency, Raman Bhalla urged the Minister to expedite the construction work in Gandhi Nagar Hospital. He also demanded post mortem facility in Gandhi Nagar Hospital to ease the pressure on GMC. Earlier, Principal GMC in her address briefed about the activities being carried out at this center. She said that training would be provided to budding doctors in this center. It will provide clinical facilities to the people of the Trikuta Nagar area. Prominent among others who also spoke on the occasion were R D Gupta, President Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society and the local corporator of the area.
