State Wushu team wins 4 medals in Nationals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, December 03: The sub-junior Wushu team of the state brought laurels winning four medals, including gold, silver and two bronze in the recently held 10th Sub junior National Wushu Championship held at Chennai. While, Mohd Saleem bagged gold in 24 kg, Mohd Irfan secured silver medal in 44 kg weight category. Rohit Manhas and Aquib Salim bagged bronze medals in 48 kg and 28 kg groups respectively. Meanwhile, Secretary of J&K State Sports Council, S Leharwal patted the medal winners and congratulated the J&K Wushu Association for their hard work. He assured all possible help from the Sports Council. Earlier, the medal winners were introduced with the Secretary by general secretary of the Association, Kuldeep Handoo. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Handoo, who is India Wushu coach, is leaving for SAI Centre Bhopal for national coaching camp being organised ahead of 5th World Cup to be held at Chongging in China from December 13 to December 19
