Top J&K shuttlers to take part in Grand Prix | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, December 03: State top seed, Vikram Saini along with younger brother and No. 2, Vipul Saini are taking part in the prestigious India Grand Prix 2010 Badminton Championship to be held at Hyderabad from December 14. To be held on knock-out basis, both Vikram and Vipul have been placed in the main draw in this competition considering their international ranking. Top players from six countries, including that of Sri Lanka, Indonesia, China, Thailand and India shall compete for the top honours. While Vipul has been pitted against World No. 102, Ali Shah Hussaini of Iran in the first round, Vikram shall compete against Mohammad Jabed Mostafa of Bangladesh in the opening match. In all, 64 participants are there to compete in the men’s singles event while in women’s singles, World No. 1 Saina Nehawal topped the draw.
