| Militants shot at four people in Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Armed militants resorted to indiscriminate firing on the locals wounding at least four people in south Kashmir's Bijbehara town, police said.
Media reports quoted eye-witnesses as saying that unknown gunmen, riding an auto-rickshaw, fired at random on local people injuring four youths at Sirmaha on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, Thursday night.
The injured were admitted to SMHS hospital here. Police said the victims were apparently out of danger.
Police have cordoned off the area and seized the auto rickshaw.
A search operation has been launched to find out as the assailants may be hiding in the area.
