| Awareness rally on AIDS held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Dec 3: In order to make the people aware regarding AIDS and its preventive measures, Trikuta Shishu Niketan Reasi organised a rally.
Chief Medical Officer, Reasi, Dr G L Dogra along with Block Medical Officer Reasi, Dr Arun Sharma flagged of the rally wherein 150 students from Trikuta Shishu Niketan Reasi participated.
The rally after passing through the main bazaar and bus stand area of Reasi town finally culminated at Government Higher Secondary School. Later a symposium was organized on awareness of AIDS and its prevention by the District Legal Services Authority Reasi and at Police Training Centre, Talwara.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Reasi was the chief guest while Munisf Magistrate, Reasi, Chief Medical Officer, Principal PTC, Medical Officer, Ransoo, MO, PHC, Panassa, Lawyers of Bar Association, Reasi also attended the function.
About 200 persons including police personnel and local people also attended the function. The CMO gave a detailed awareness about AIDS and its preventive measures on the occasion.
