| Students seek blessings at Maitri Mahayagya | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3: On the 9th day of the Sarv Dharam Maitri Mahayagya, the students of various schools participated.
This 11-day long Maitri Maha Yagya is organised by Sant Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass in the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the different parts of the India for the country. Families of the Mumbai martyrs and the Kargil martyrs also participated.
The students were also blessed by Swamiji , who distributed national flags, sweets and refreshmentt among the students. Earlier the families of the Mumbai martyrs of 26/11 received a warm reception on reaching Jammu.
Families of Shaheed Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar, constable Tukaram Omble, Shasahank Shinde and others reached Jammu.
This Mahayagya started on November 25 and the Puranahuti will be performed on December 5. Narender Chanchal will also ZZon dec 5 and will enthrall the devotees.
The portraits of the martyrs were also displayed on the occasion and will continue till puranahuti of the yagya.
