| INC workers submit charter of demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3: A meeting of the party workers of INC was held at party office Kalakote to discuss the problems and developmental needs of the public of' Kalakote.
The meeting was attended and addressed by prominent party workers of Kalakote constituency including Ch. Mohd Ismail, Peer Ghulam Rasool Shah, Kuldeep Sharma, Mahesh Kumar, Rashid Gorsi, Captain Raj Singh, Satpal Sharma and others.
The participants unanimously submitted a memorandum of demands which among others included proper management or disbursement and effective distribution system along with enough allotment of rice quota, BPL/ Antodhya lists must be prepared afresh as the present ones are politically centered whereas, the genuine cases have been ignored, adequate medical staff at CHC, Kalakote.
Other demands included defunct PHE schemas be made functional and the areas where there is acute shortage of water like Kurah, Broh, Saroh, Metka, Kabukote, Baji Mahl and Taryath etc be given proper attention .
Abdul Ghani Kohli also spoke on the occasion .
