| All J&K Plus 2 lecturers organizes Introductory Interactive Session | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers, Forum organized an “Introductory Interactive Session” with Director School Education Gulzar Qureshi on the assumption of the responsibilities as Head of the Department in Jammu Division here today.
On the occasion a touching farewell was also given to Zahida Khan, the predecessor to the new director who has recently been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua.
The impressive function organized by the Forum in the premises of Forest Information Centre at Bikram Chowk here was attended by the Central Leadership of the Forum, all the District President of Jammu Region, besides 200 delegates from across the province along with a galaxy of Senior officer of the department.
The house on the occasion welcomed the new Director Gulzar Qureshi and extended its full co-operation in his working and also lauded the services of Zahida Khan as director who left indelible impacts with her working during the tenure.
The proceedings were conducted by NS Jamwal General Secretary, whereas the vote of thanks was presented by Manmeet Bali Vice President.
H D Qureshi, the State President of the Forum while speaking on the occasion expressed his confidence that with the posting of Gulzar Qureshi as Director School Education the Department will further streamlined in each and every aspect and the ultimate target of Quality Education and “Academic Excellence” will be achieved.
Gulzar Qureshi while speaking on the occasion expressed that the whole approach in the Department should be parents responsive and child centre to come up on the expectation of the society and assured the gathering that he will concentrate upon the quality Education and smooth functioning of Institutions all across the province particularly in far-flung areas.
Zahida Khan, former Director School Education now Deputy Commissioner Kathua while speaking on the occasion expressed her gratitude to the teachers fraternity in General and Plus 2 Cadre in particular for the cooperation extended during her tenure that enabled her to deliver her responsibilities as Director successfully and also thanked the Forum for organizing such an impressive function on her transfer.
