Shiv Sena leads car rally to garner support for bandh
Sikh organizations extend support

Shiv Sena (Bal Thackrey group today lead a car rally to canvass and gain support for bandh call on November 6.
Protest against the discrimination meted out to the Pok refugees. The rally which included the participants and leaders from Lok Jan Shakti Party, United Refugee and Duggar Pradesh Party started from Press Club, Jammu and after traveling via Gandhi Nagar, Residency Road, Raghunath Bazar, Purani Mandi, Jain Bazar, Talab Tillo, Bakshi Nagar, Janipur finally culminated at Press Club.
Later, talking to Early Times, Anan Sharma of Shiv Sena sounded confident about the sneers of the proposed bandh though he seemed upset with the attitude of state BJP on their alleged attempt to highjack the agenda of Shiv Sena and other parties fighting for PoK refugees as according to Anan Sharma the bandh call in support of PoK refugees, was first given by his party.
Prominent among those who led the other parties included Rajiv Chuni of United Refugee Party, Uday Chand of Duggar Pradesh Party and Sanjeev Manotra of Lok Jan Shakti.
Meanwhile, various Sikh organizations, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sudershan Singh Wazir Ex-President State Gurudwara Prabandhak Board, has unanimously passed a resolution in support of Nov 6 Jammu Bandh call given by the United Refugee Front.
The meeting hailed the efforts of the Front and the decision by several social, political and religious organizations to support the Bandh. The participants in the meeting regretted that the Jammu and Kashmir and Central Governments have failed to solve the long pending demand of PoK refugees who have been facing very hardship since 1947.
The meeting jointly appealed to the refugees to close their business on November 6 and observe complete bandh in the refugee localities. It also urged the Chief Minister and Prime Minister to settle the problems of the refugees without any further delay.
Among others who attended the meeting were Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society, Narbir Singh President Shiromini Youth Akali Dal, Jagdev Singh President State Akali Dal,Paramit Singh President AISF, Gajan Singh Chairman Sikh Sangat, Kulwant Singh Chief Advisor Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Manmohan Singh Chairman Gole Gujral, Master Amar Singh President Sikh Welfare Society,Kanchan Singh Chatha,Kultar Singh and Darshan Singh SO.
