| BJYM protests against CAPD officials | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 3: Activists of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) took to the streets and held protest demonstration in Rajouri against alleged apathetic attitude of the transport, forest and Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Departments.
They were demanding action against the officials of the employees. Protest demonstration was held outside tehsil complex under the leadership of State secretary of BJYM Koushal Gupta. During the protest, activists aired anti-government slogans and alleged that CAPD, Transport and Forest department have completely failed to address the public issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Koushal Gupta said that Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department is not properly supplying ration to the poor people. He said that people have encroached forest land in Bathuni, Chechera and Rajouri areas but department has not vacated it from the encroachers due to reason better known to them.
Meanwhile District President of BJYM targeted transport department and alleged corrupt practices in the department. He said that a senior congress leader of Rajouri leveled serious allegations against Assistant Regional Transport Officer Rajouri few days ago on a local TV channel but government has not taken any action against the officials. He demanded probe into the allegations leveled against ARTO Rajouri and said that if proved, action must be initiated against him.
