| Minor girl gang raped in Mendhar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Dec 3: A 13 year old girl studying in class 8 was allegedly gang raped by two boys in Sagra village of Mendher Tehsil in Poonch district.
Police has taken custody of one of the accused and launched man hunt to nab another. As per reports, a 13 years old girl Misba (name changed) resident of Sagra village in Mendher Tehsil was first kidnapped by two boys from her house last evening when she was returning after attending call of nature outside her house at about 8:30 PM.
Sources said that the two accused have been identified as Kaka Hussain son of Abdullah and Zahir Hussain son of Nazir Hussain. "When the girl reached near them, they handcuffed her and took her away in the nearby forest where they repeatedly raped her throughout the night," police sources said while adding that parents of the girl found her unconscious in the nearby forest in the morning when somebody informed them about her presence in the forest.
Meanwhile, parents lodged a report in Police Station Mendher and police deputed a team to investigate the matter after lodging First Information Report bearing number 218 of 2010 under section 363, 376 and 109 RPC. According to the statement of the girl, both the boys repeatedly raped her and later, left her unconscious in the forest.
On the inputs of the girl, police arrested Zahir Hussain son of Nazir Hussain and launched man hunt to nab the other culprit Kaka Hussain. Police said that they have launched search operation in the village to nab the absconded accused. |
