| Make Ansari commission report to public: SUF | | |
JAMMU NOV 04- All Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Unity Forum (SUF), in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its Convenor Rajinder Singh, has demanded that the Ansari Commission Report of 1989 Sikh riots in Jammu and Chhati Singhpura massacre in Kashmir, in which 35 Sikhs were killed, should be made to public.
The Forum has also urged the Government to introduce Punjabi subject in educational institutions including private schools in the State, besides appointing a Sikh as a Judge of the State High Court.
The meeting stressed the need for declaring Transport as an industry in the State as majority of Sikhs are dependent on this business.
Among others, Tarlok Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Balbir Singh and Balwant Singh attended the meeting.
