| 6-yr-old killed, another hurt in cycle accident | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 04: A six-year-old boy was today killed and another wounded critically
when their bicycle met with an accident near Dyansar in Bishnah area.
The dead was identified as Sandeep Kumar (6), son of Balbir Chand, and the injured as Manoj Kumar (13), son of Surjit Kumar of Dyansar Colony, Bishnah.
Police sources said while Manoj, an 8th class student, was sitting
on the saddle and pedalling the bicycle, Sandeep was on the crossbar. They were on their way to their government school at Chak Murar.
Sources said the mishap occured when Sandeep's foot got entangled in the front wheel.
Surjit was killed on the spot while Manoj's condition was stated to
be critical at the hospital.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
