| Children on motivational tour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 4: The motivational tour for physically challenged children of Viklang Chatra trust from Akhnoor to Amritsar, Jalandhar and Chandigarh was flagged off by Major General Rakesh Sharma General Officer Commanding Crossed Swords Division on 30 Nov 10.
The children visited Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple in Amritsar on Dec 1 and Pinjore Garden in Chandigarh on Dec 3.
The children were exposed to rich and cultural heritage of India. The tour is providing them with ample opportunity to interact with the people of different culture.
The tour has already left an indelible impression on the young and fresh minds and is a great step forward in the Army’s drive to win the heart and minds of the people.
