| BVP organizes quiz contest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu DEC 04: Bharat Vikas Parishad under Sanskar projects organised “quiz contest on Bharat Ko Jano at Dogra Hr. Secondary School.
The quiz contest was held in two groups- senior and junior and was organized at all branch levels including Jammu East, Jammu west, Udhampur, Kathua, Katra, Reasi, Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Talab Tillo, Vivekanand, Shivkhori etc.
Former minister Gulchain Singh Charak was the chief guest on this occasion.
The whole programme was organized under the presidentship of Dr Subhash Gupta. Other team members included Prof Satish Anand, S.N. Sharma, Dr Santosh Gupta, Prof Suresh Gupta, Arun Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Dr J.K. Shrama, D.R. Kotwal, Rajinder Gupta, Atam Sarup, Dr Raj Kumari, State Executive members and Presidents of various branches along with 800 members. Seven teams participated in senior and seven teams participated in Junior Category.
The winning teams at State level competition in senior group included Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jagriti Niketan Hr. Sec. School, Presentation Convent School and in Junior Group Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Sainik Colony, Tavishi Scholars and Presentation Convent were the winners.
The first winning team in each group will compete at National level in Jan 2011.
