Physiotherapists continue protest, lathicharged

JAMMU, Dec 4: Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association (JKPA) continued its protest demonstration outside the office of Divisional Commissioner and also organized signature campaign at Kachi Chawni.
Police allegedly lathicharged the agitating physiotherapists when they were trying to move towards the civil secretariat. According to handout, more than 25 member of JKPA were injured in the clash. JKPA leaders said that they are fighting for the noble cause and it is the right of the citizens of the state to have better health care system.
JKPA warned the state government not to use force against JKPA. Meanwhile Media Convener of JKPA Dr. Gagan Charak announced to observe Monday as black day.
