Nipun makes highest 227 runs in U-14 cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, December 05: Budding cricketer, Nipun Verma has made maximum 227 runs from Jammu and Kashmir in the just concluded Sub-junior under-14 Cricket Tournament held under the banner of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at New Delhi. Nipun played five innings in the four two-day matches this season. This opening batsman made 41 against Himachal Pradesh and contributed 15 runs in the second match against Punjab. However, in the two innings’ against Haryana, he cracked 65 and 25 runs while the highlight of this tour was his superb knock of 81 against Delhi. Young right-hand batsman is a student of class eighth of MC Khalsa School and a trainee of State Sports Council coach, Randhir Singh posed at MA Stadium, here.
