| Sarav Dharam Maytri Mahayagya concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 5: The ten long Sarav Dharam Maytri Mahayagya being solemnized here in Jammu Tawi by Swami Bal Yogeshwar ji Maharaj for peace and communal harmony has concluded here today.
On the concluding ceremony of the Mahayagya, a grand programme was organized and and Mahayagya concluded with Puran Ahuti by the prominent saints and Swami Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj.
The Puran Ahuti was followed by big Bhandara in which thousands of devotees participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Bal Yogeshwar Maharaj said that this Mahayagya was organized to remember the sacrifices of martyrs of Jammu, Kargil and pray for peace, communal harmony and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, “By organizing this Mahayagya from past many years, we are spreading message of peace, tranquility and brotherhood besides remembering the martyrs, who have sacrificed their lives for the nation”.
He thanked the state administration, social and political organizations and members of different communities for the active support in making this grand Mahayagya successful.
He informed that during Mahayagya families of martyrs of Jammu particularly Kargil martyrs were honoured. He appealed the people of Jammu and Kashmir to pledge for maintaining peace, communal harmony and brotherhood in the state.
Later, prominent singer Narinder Chanchal performed on the occasion and mesmerized the audience with bheints.
