| Junior Division: Cantt Star, Param FC win | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU DEC 05 In junior division of the football league, Cantt Star and Param FC won their respective super league ties played at Mini Stadium, Parade, here today.
In the first match, Cantt Star outplayed Young Churchill 2-1. Kishen Sen (3rd) and Shivam Thapa (24th) scored for the winners while Aprichit reduced the margin in the 57th minute.
Later, in another super league tie, Param FC outplayed Shri Bhagat Singh Club again 2-1. Shivam scored the first goal for the winners in the fourth minute. The second goal was self goal by conceded bv Bhagat Singh defender in the 17th minute. However, Bhagat Singh Club got an opportunity to score a goal in the shape of a penalty kick which they successfully netted.
Meanwhile, in sub-junior group, Young Tigers beat Baba Football Club 2-0. Ishant and Honey scored for the winners. In other matches, Churchill Brothers blanked JKPS Club 7-0 and Stallion Club got walkover TRC Club.
