| Stop taking false publicity, redress basic issues: Pathania | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Dec 5: Coming down heavily upon MLA Ramnagar for inaugurating centrally-sponsored schemes, installing self-made name plates and trying to take cheap publicity out of them, the Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) vice president R S Pathania has alleged that all these inaugurations are going on without the involvement of concerned departments.
Addressing a press conference after attending a gathering of people, Pathania said that local MLA has all of a sudden, inaugurated a series of bridges, roads and water-supply schemes, deriving their funding and planning part from the central government in Ramnagar.
Pathania commented that these central schemes are the outcome of efforts and endeavours of Congress party which is in power in the State as well as Centre.
And by inaugurating these road and water-supply schemes in self-organized functions wherein making hollow and inflated claims of development besides work culture in Ramnagar, he wants to divert the public attention from the ‘black-rule’ in the constituency, PYC leader added
The fact remains that due to administrative neglect and lack of proper political leadership, the area has not been able to assert and flourish properly despite the availability of best of potential available here. The area is lagging far behind in areas of road connectivity, provision of drinking water, electricity, human and animal healthcare, development of agriculture, horticulture and sericulture, tourism promotion, educational facilities, employment avenues.
