| Mystery shrouds AsI's death in hotel | | | JAMMU: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police was today found lying dead under mysterious circumstances in a hotel at Talab Khatkiyan here.
Police sources identified the dead as ASI Mohammad Amin, son of Abdul Ghani of Bijbihara. He was at present posted in IRP 14 Bn at Anantnag, Kashmir. From the hotel room, police seized some liquor bottles and other intoxicants which were sent to FSL for verification, the sources added.
He booked a room in hotel Benazir Saturday night. He was this morning seen in an unconscious condition by some waiters who informed police.
He was rushed to the GMC hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police had registered a case in this connection under section 174 of CrPC. |
